Master Mathematiques Et Applications

For Master Mathematiques Et Applications, tuition comes to 250 EUR per year.

École nationale des ponts et chaussées, in Champs Sur Marne, France, offers the Master Mathematiques Et Applications, a graduate program in mathematics and its applications. This discipline spans both theoretical mathematics and the methods used to apply mathematical reasoning to problems in engineering, science, and quantitative analysis. Students typically study subjects such as analysis, probability, optimization, and numerical methods, often paired with applied coursework oriented toward modeling physical, financial, or engineering systems. The program generally moves from strong theoretical grounding toward the practical use of mathematical tools in computational and applied settings, with an emphasis on quantitative problem-solving. Graduates of mathematics and applications programs commonly move into roles such as data scientist, quantitative analyst, engineer, or researcher in fields that rely on advanced mathematical modeling, including finance, technology, and industrial engineering. Others pursue doctoral research in mathematics or applied mathematics, or move toward teaching and academic careers. This master's program is taught in French and runs over two years, with studies beginning in September. The yearly tuition is 250 EUR, matching the standard rate for French public universities. Given the demanding theoretical content, applicants generally need a strong undergraduate foundation in mathematics before entering this two-year program conducted entirely in French.
