Master Mathematiques Et Applications

For Master Mathematiques Et Applications, tuition fees are 250 EUR per year.

The Master Mathematiques Et Applications at Université Le Havre Normandie, in Le Havre Cedex, France, is a two-year master's program taught in French, with a yearly tuition of 250 EUR and a September start date. Mathematics and its applications form a discipline focused on the study of abstract structures, such as numbers, equations, and geometric or probabilistic models, along with the use of mathematical tools to solve problems in science, engineering, and other applied fields. Students in this field typically study analysis, algebra, probability and statistics, and numerical methods, alongside coursework applying these tools to areas such as modeling, data analysis, or scientific computing, depending on the specific orientation of the program. Training generally combines theoretical coursework with problem sets, computer-based exercises, and projects involving the modeling or simulation of real-world phenomena using mathematical methods. The discipline builds strong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills that transfer across many technical and scientific fields, making mathematics graduates versatile in settings that require rigorous problem-solving. Graduates of mathematics and applications programs commonly pursue careers in data analysis, scientific computing, actuarial work, engineering support roles, teaching subject to relevant qualification, and technical positions in industries such as finance, technology, and research, with some continuing toward doctoral study. Since instruction is delivered in French, solid French language proficiency is required to follow mathematical coursework and written examinations. The program runs over two years and is based in Le Havre Cedex at Université Le Havre Normandie.
