Master Mathematiques Et Applications

At Université Paris-Est Créteil, tuition costs 250 EUR per year.

Université Paris-Est Créteil, in De-Marne - Upec - Creteil Cedex, France, offers the Master Mathematiques Et Applications, a graduate program in mathematics and its applications. This discipline covers both pure mathematical theory and the methods used to apply mathematics to problems in science, engineering, finance, and data analysis. Students typically study areas such as analysis, algebra, probability, statistics, and numerical methods, alongside applied tracks that may focus on modeling, computation, or the mathematical tools used in fields like finance or engineering. Coursework generally builds from theoretical foundations toward the application of mathematical techniques to concrete problems, often involving computational work and quantitative reasoning. Graduates of mathematics and applications programs commonly move into roles such as data analyst, actuary, statistician, or quantitative researcher, as well as positions in finance, engineering, and technology sectors that rely on strong mathematical modeling skills. Others pursue doctoral research in mathematics or a related quantitative field, or move into teaching. This master's program is taught in French and runs over two years, with studies beginning in September. The yearly tuition is 250 EUR, matching the standard rate for French public universities. Applicants should have a solid undergraduate foundation in mathematics, since the program builds on advanced theoretical and applied coursework conducted in French throughout its two years.
