Students keen on mathematical theory or applications will appreciate the Master Mathématiques' focus on both, grounded in the expertise of the Laboratoire Amiénois de Mathématique Fondamentale et Appliquée (LAMFA), a CNRS UMR 7352 research unit. The programme offers three specialisations: Analysis Applied and Modelling (AAM), Algebra, Number Theory and Applications (ATNA), and Preparation for the External Mathematics Teaching Certificate (PAE). The second year's curriculum is tailored to each path, with collaborative work on advanced modules and a final master's project. Students can either pursue a doctoral programme or enter the workforce, with many choosing to teach in secondary schools.
