Master of Design (Research)

Graduates of the Master of Design (Research) take on roles like Design Director, Architectural Critic/Writer, or Innovation Specialist. The curriculum includes a core thesis subject, 'Thesis (Design)', and it is designed to be completed in 2 years full time or 4 years part time. The Faculty of Design and Society supports graduates to develop their expertise, working with a wide array of facilities and networks. They learn to deepen their understanding and hands-on skills in both research-for-design and research-by-design, preparing them to contribute new knowledge to the field and shape global policy, startups, or deliver community impact.
