The Master's Degree Programme in Intelligent Systems is designed for practising engineers who want to deepen their understanding of modern automation and intelligent systems. Students study automation and control at both theoretical and practical levels, learning to design and apply automation systems and to use data-driven decision-making techniques in industrial contexts. A particular emphasis is placed on machine learning methods in industrial automation. The programme develops the skills needed to work at the intersection of classical control engineering and modern computational approaches to intelligent system design. The programme is offered at Novia University of Applied Sciences in Vaasa, Finland.
