The Master Philosophie at the University of Picardie Jules Verne covers the history of philosophy, philosophy of language and knowledge, and ethics. It is hosted by two research laboratories, the CURAPP-ESS (CNRS, UMR 7319) and the CHSSC (EA 4289).

The programme is structured around five teaching blocks: Fundamentals, Disciplinary Specialisation, Disciplinary Methodology, Language (English), and Research Report and Methodology.

The master opens the door to doctoral studies in philosophy, preparing students for careers as researchers, teachers, and teacher-researchers. The programme includes training for national public service examinations and offers practice for typical exercises in secondary school teaching competitions, such as lesson preparation, text explanation, and essay writing.
