This programme offers a distinctive feature: the "terrain de l'historien" field trips, which are real or virtual excursions integrated into the curriculum. The programme is anchored in the research axes of the partner centres, particularly the "Espaces, et pouvoirs" axis of TrAme and the "Individus, corps socio-politique aux époques moderne et contemporaine" axis of the CHSSC. This approach allows students to explore a wide range of historical periods and topics, from the ancient world to contemporary times, in their research memoirs. The programme is structured to accommodate both research-oriented and professionally-oriented students, with the latter having the option to complete a long-term internship and a related report instead of a traditional research thesis.
