Master Program in Semiconductor Technology

For Master Program in Semiconductor Technology, tuition fees are 120,119 TWD per year.

Semiconductor technology is the study of the materials, devices, and manufacturing processes that underlie modern electronics, covering how semiconductor materials are used to build the chips found in computers, phones, and countless other devices. Students in this field typically study solid-state physics, semiconductor device fabrication, integrated circuit design, and the equipment and processes used in chip manufacturing. The discipline combines physics, materials science, and electrical engineering, preparing students to work across the design, fabrication, and testing stages of semiconductor production. This Master Program in Semiconductor Technology is offered by National Taipei University of Technology, located in northern Taiwan, at the master's degree level. Instruction is delivered in English, allowing international students to pursue graduate study in semiconductor technology without needing Chinese-language proficiency for coursework. As a technology-focused institution, this setting supports applied, industry-relevant training suited to the technical demands of semiconductor manufacturing. Graduates of semiconductor technology programs pursue careers in integrated circuit design, wafer fabrication, process and equipment engineering, and quality and testing roles within semiconductor companies. Given Taiwan's globally significant position in semiconductor manufacturing, graduates trained in this field are well positioned for technical roles throughout the semiconductor supply chain, from chip design firms to foundries and equipment suppliers. Career paths include work as process engineers, device engineers, and technical specialists supporting the development and manufacturing of increasingly advanced semiconductor devices. As demand continues to grow across computing, communications, automotive, and other technology sectors, graduates with training in semiconductor technology are positioned to enter a technically demanding field central to the modern electronics industry.
