📚 About the Program

Preservation is a field involved with the interpretation and conservation of historic sites, as well as with their renovation and adaptive use. An interdisciplinary approach to the investigation of buildings and landscapes, which addresses the complexity of material culture, has been adopted by the faculty of this program. The College of Design offers a Master of Historic Preservation degree that provides opportunities for students to explore a variety of interests, including Building Revitalization, Community Engagement, and Rural Preservation.
