The Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor of Science) program is accredited by ABET. Its mission is to prepare graduates for engineering employment, licensure, and graduate studies through hands-on laboratory and prototyping experiences. Students develop abilities in synthesizing concepts, using analytical tools, professional communication, teamwork, and ethical decision-making.

Graduates are prepared for employment as engineers in Mechanical Engineering related industries, for engineering licensure, and for graduate studies.
