About the Program

Silesian University of Technology offers Mechanics and Machine Design as a bachelor's program taught in English over seven semesters, with yearly tuition of 4600 EUR. Graduates typically find work in companies engaged in the design, manufacturing and operation of machinery, including design offices and roles connected to production planning and the automation of technological processes. The program also builds broad knowledge and skills in metallurgy and materials science relevant to manufacturing industries. Mechanical engineering as a field more generally trains students to analyze forces, materials and mechanisms, preparing them for careers spanning automotive, aerospace, energy and industrial machinery sectors. Programs combine theoretical coursework with laboratory work and computer-aided design practice, giving graduates a foundation for further study or direct entry into engineering roles across manufacturing and technology industries.
