Master in MSc Computational Mathematics and Data Analysis

Tuition fees are 20,456 GBP per year.

You'll study computational spectral theory and finite element discretisation of differential equations on the Edinburgh campus.

Mathematical models underpin complex challenges in physical, chemical, and industry settings. This MSc programme helps students develop the skills needed for precise and efficient scientific computations, which are vital for interdisciplinary collaborations. Students will actively engage in research projects that focus on applications such as simulation of granular flow, mathematical modelling of micro-electron mechanical systems, and computational spectral theory.

The programme, taught by experts in computational and applied mathematics, ensures that graduates are well-equipped to transition into professional roles in large-scale simulations, modelling, and machine learning models.
