This international Master’s program is part of the University of Haifa’s Leon H. Charney School of Marine Sciences. Globally renowned for its high professional standards, the Leon Charney School of Marine Sciences is the largest academic center of marine sciences in Israel, and the only one to be included in the prestigious 2023 Shanghai Academic Ranking. The State of Israel has chosen the school to lead MERCI -the Mediterranean Sea Research Center of Israel , consisting of seven universities, two colleges, and two government research institutes. With research labs and teaching facilities on our Mount Carmel campus, the Mediterranean as our research lab, and 3 coastal research centers, the school is constantly conducting groundbreaking research on the Mediterranean on scientific, tech and environmental levels.
