This programme is designed for students who want to create a custom academic path using their existing credits and personal goals. It allows learners to combine courses from two or more disciplines into a personalized degree. Students work with a faculty advisor to build a curriculum focused on specific career or transfer objectives. The programme emphasizes self-directed learning and integrates academic planning with career exploration.

The programme requires 60 credit hours total, with 20 credits earned at the University of Cincinnati. Students complete a 2-credit seminar, a 3-credit capstone, and 36 credits of career-focused coursework across two or more disciplines. Additional credits come from required courses in English, math or statistics, natural science, and social science.

Graduates typically transfer into bachelor’s degree programmes or enter entry-level roles in fields aligned with their customized academic plan.

Applicants must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Transfer students with fewer than 30 college credits must submit high school transcripts. All applicants must submit official transcripts from every school attended. First-year students may need to take placement tests in English and math.

The programme totals about 60 credit hours. 100% online and asynchronous, with 7-week courses; available full-time or part-time; multiple start dates per year. For international students, tuition is well below the median for US programmes.

UC Clermont connects academic study with practical career preparation. Internships, Career Services and study-abroad opportunities help students build experience before graduation. Career-oriented degrees are designed to lead directly to employment, while other programs provide a transition to UC Uptown or another baccalaureate institution. The college also offers online programs supported through UC Online.

Academic options include associate degrees, bachelor’s degrees and certificates across fields such as aviation technology, biological sciences, business, chemistry, criminal justice, digital media, engineering, environmental studies, health information management, nursing, public health, respiratory care, robotics and automation, sport administration and surgical technology. The campus is in Batavia, Ohio, and has a park-like setting with small classes rather than large lecture halls. Students can study online or in person and are expected to know their classmates and professors. UC Clermont offers a UC degree at nearly half the cost of most other colleges and universities. International applicants are identified as students whose current country of residence is outside the United States and who require a student visa. Applications are completed online through the UC Web Portal, and official transcripts and test scores must arrive by the relevant deadline.
