Bachelor in Nursing

Nursing prepares students to provide direct patient care and support health outcomes across clinical and community settings. Coursework typically covers anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, pediatric and maternal health, psychiatric nursing, and public health, along with clinical practice rotations in hospitals and healthcare facilities. Students learn to assess patient conditions, administer treatments, coordinate care plans, and communicate with patients and healthcare teams. Supervised clinical placements form a core part of the program, giving students direct experience in hospital wards, outpatient clinics, and community health settings. Graduates pursue careers as registered nurses in hospitals, clinics, and community health organizations, as well as roles in public health, education, and specialized clinical areas such as intensive or pediatric care. Many continue to advanced practice or specialized nursing certifications. This 4-year bachelor program is taught in English at Demiroğlu Bilim University, located in Istanbul, Turkey. As a private university, the program is offered within a faculty of health sciences, combining clinical training with theoretical grounding in patient care.
