This practice-focused doctoral program prepares advanced practice nurses with the knowledge and skills to lead in complex healthcare environments. Designed for registered nurses with bachelor's degrees, it offers two clinical specialization tracks and spans twelve consecutive part-time semesters. Students engage in professional practice and graduate studies, completing a minimum of 1000 clinical instruction hours in their specialization.

Focus areas include Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

Graduates gain the knowledge, skills, and judgment to apply for ARNP licensure in Florida and sit for national certification exams in their chosen specialty.

Admission requires a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with a minimum 3.3 GPA, a current RN or APRN license, and national certification in an advanced nursing specialty. Applicants must submit a CV/resume, two essays (goals and clinical project), three letters of recommendation, and transcripts showing completion of a nursing research course and a recent statistics course (grade B or higher).
