Nursing is a healthcare discipline focused on patient care, health promotion, and the coordination of treatment across clinical settings. Coursework typically covers anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, community health nursing, pediatric and maternal health, and nursing research, combined with supervised clinical placements in hospitals and community health settings. Students develop clinical assessment skills, patient care techniques, and the communication needed to work as part of multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Graduates pursue careers as registered nurses in hospitals, clinics, community health organizations, and specialized care settings, with pathways into nursing leadership, education, or advanced clinical practice through further study. The discipline also connects with public health and health administration, where nursing knowledge supports broader healthcare planning and delivery. This bachelor's program is taught in English over 4 years at Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University, located in İstanbul, Turkey. The English-medium curriculum allows students to build clinical terminology and patient communication skills in English while progressing through the four-year course of study. İstanbul, Turkey's largest city, hosts the faculty delivering this program toward the bachelor's degree.
