Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics

Nutrition and Dietetics studies the relationship between food, health, and disease, and how dietary planning supports wellbeing across the lifespan. Coursework typically covers human physiology, biochemistry, food science, clinical nutrition, community nutrition, and dietary counseling, preparing students to assess nutritional needs and design eating plans for varied populations. Students learn to evaluate nutrient composition, address dietary conditions such as diabetes and obesity, and communicate nutrition guidance to clients in clear, practical terms. The curriculum also covers food safety, food preparation techniques, and the regulatory standards that govern food labeling and public health nutrition programs.
