Humber College offers a two-year program in Occupational Therapist Assistant & Physiotherapist Assistant. This program provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to work as an entry-level assistant in either field. Students learn the basics of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology, as well as the principles and practices of occupational therapy and physiotherapy. They also gain hands-on experience and practical skills in a clinical setting. Upon completion of the program, graduates are eligible to write the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) examinations, which are the required professional qualifications for working in these fields.
