Students in the Paedagogik Bachelor programme study 'Allgemeine Pädagogik – Basismodul I: Pädagogische Anthropologie und Normativität', engaging with foundational questions of human nature and the normative basis of education. This programme explores key educational and psychological theories, focusing on education and learning throughout the lifespan, beyond the school system, in contexts ranging from social work to family support and adult education.

The programme includes two distinct areas of focus, chosen from four options: Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung, Frühkindliche Bildung und Erziehung, Erwachsenenbildung/Weiterbildung, and Sozialpädagogik. Students gain hands-on experience through two mandatory internships per focus area, and they may also select an optional minor, such as Sportdidaktik or Musikpädagogik. The curriculum is flexible, allowing students to integrate a period of study abroad.
