PhD in Ph D Pflegewissenschaft

At the Department für Pflegewissenschaft unit of the University of Witten/Herdecke, PhD candidates benefit from a structured research environment that has trained over 130 nursing scientists since 1996, many of whom have gone on to secure professorships in Germany and abroad. Noted for its pioneering role in German nursing science, the department offers a three-year programme starting in February with a maximum of 10 participants. Doctoral students receive intensive support and supervision while participating in courses focused on theoretical and methodological aspects, transferable skills, and contemporary topics in nursing and health.
