Coursework develops critical thinking, teamwork, and communication alongside subject knowledge. Every student can complete a co-op, a full-time, semester-long professional work experience that connects classroom learning with practical preparation. Academic advisors and career counselors work together with students to explore options, set goals, and stay on track.

Hendrix’s campus includes laboratories, classrooms, theatres, gyms, and the Windgate Museum of Art, which presents exhibitions, educational programs, and social activities. The Wellness and Athletics Center includes an aquatics center, an indoor track, and yoga facilities, with community memberships available. More than half of students compete on 21 varsity teams, and over 70 clubs and organizations offer additional ways to build leadership skills and professional connections.

Conway has 60,000 residents and three college campuses, providing the amenities of a college town within a small-town setting. Little Rock, Arkansas’s capital and largest city, is 30 miles away.
