The Doctor of Physical Therapy program combines systems-based and lifespan approaches to understand diseases and disorders affecting movement and the evidence-based clinical methods to treat them. The curriculum includes extensive clinical practice, totaling 32 weeks, to build competence across various patient populations and issues. Training emphasizes applying evidence-based practices and the latest research to prepare students for lifelong learning in the profession.

The program requires 134 credit hours distributed across coursework, three clinical observation practicums, and two 12-week clinical practice placements, totaling 32 weeks of full-time clinical experience.

Graduates are eligible to take the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) and apply for licensure, qualifying them for careers as licensed physical therapists in settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, private practices, rehabilitation centers, and schools.

Applicants need a bachelor's degree and prerequisite coursework with a minimum 3.0 overall GPA and 3.0 physical science GPA. Required are official GRE scores (verbal 146, quantitative 144), Altus Suite (CASPer) results, 75 hours of physical therapy observation, and three reference forms, including one from a physical therapist.

The programme totals about 134 credit hours. On-campus, full-time, nine semesters. For international students, tuition is below the median for US programmes. The institution admits about 90% of applicants.
