Students complete clinical placements in family medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, internal medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, and psychiatry. They conduct patient histories, physical exams, order and interpret tests, and diagnose and treat illnesses. The program uses problem-based learning to develop critical thinking and independent practice skills. Graduates work under physician supervision in hospitals, clinics, and community health settings.
