Master in Physics and Chemistry

Physics and Chemistry studies the fundamental laws governing matter and energy, spanning the theoretical principles of physics alongside the molecular and chemical processes studied in chemistry. A master's program combining these two fields typically covers classical and quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, and electromagnetism from the physics side, alongside organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry from the chemistry side, often with opportunities to focus research on the overlap between the two disciplines. This program is offered by DGIST, the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology, located in Daegu, South Korea, and taught in English. The degree runs for two years, with new students able to begin every March and September.
