About Master in Physique Fondamentale et Applications

Five-hundred students each year study the Master of Physics, which offers a broad thematic range of pathways. The curriculum is enhanced by strong interactions with the world-renowned research labs and enterprises on the Saclay Plateau, offering both French and English pathways from fundamental to applied physics.

Students can choose from 18 M2 specialised pathways, or 2 integrated Erasmus Mundus M1-M2 pathways. The curriculum emphasizes rigorous scientific training in both experimental and theoretical physics, covering a wide array of research themes conducted at the highest international standards.

Specialised pathways include:

Concepts Fondamentaux de la Physique, Quantum Light, Materials and Nano Sciences, and Physique des Plasmas et de la Fusion.
