Diplôme d'études collégiales en Techniques policières

Tuition is CAD 410 per year.

The Police Techniques programme is a full-time, on-campus college diploma program that prepares students for a career in law enforcement. It includes a mandatory police field placement and leads to eligibility for admission to the École nationale de police du Québec (ENPQ). The program takes two years to complete and focuses on practical training in policing, physical fitness, and legal standards.

Students study core subjects such as French, mathematics, and English, with strong emphasis on language proficiency and academic performance. Admission requires passing a physical aptitude test, a medical exam, and a French language assessment for non-native speakers. Candidates must also meet health standards set by the ENPQ, including vision, hearing, and musculoskeletal requirements.

Admission is competitive and based on academic records, physical test results, and medical clearance. Students must apply through the SRAM system by March 1 for the fall intake. Upon graduation, they are eligible to apply to the ENPQ for initial police training, which includes additional tests, medical exams, and a fee of $8,169.
