Siyaset Bilimi ve Kamu Yönetimi

Political Science and Public Administration explores how political systems, institutions, and public organizations function, covering political theory, comparative politics, public policy, and administrative law. Students examine the structure of government, decision-making processes, and the delivery of public services, while also studying international relations and political economy. Coursework often includes analysis of policy case studies, institutional design, and governance challenges facing states and municipalities. Research and writing skills are developed through essays and policy briefs that examine current political issues. Graduates go on to careers in public administration, diplomacy, non-governmental organizations, journalism, and policy research, as well as further academic study. This bachelor program runs 4 years and is taught in English at Altınbaş University in İstanbul, Turkey, allowing students to study political systems while based in a major Turkish city. The English-medium format supports international students engaging with global political and administrative concepts alongside comparative perspectives on Turkish governance. Seminars and group discussions encourage students to connect theoretical frameworks with contemporary political developments. The program combines a broad social science foundation with administrative training relevant to both public and private sector work.
