Bachelor in Popular Music (BMus)

The BMus in Popular Music at SRH University Berlin centres on developing each student's musical abilities and artistic identity. Individual main subject lessons, minor subject lessons, ensemble lessons, repertoire study, and accompaniment coaching run throughout the entire seven-semester programme and form the practical core of study. Students work on their own material with support from lecturers who are active in the music industry. The programme includes a club concert series, regular living room concerts, jam sessions, and live panels with music editors, labels, and publishers, as well as various practical projects. These activities provide experience performing before audiences and opportunities to connect with professionals in the music business. The seventh semester includes the Bachelor's thesis. Tuition is EUR 9,480 per year. The programme admits students for both winter and summer semesters. The programme is offered at SRH University, located in Berlin, Germany.
