Master in Professional IT Business & Digitalisation

The Professional IT Business and Digitalisation Master's programme (Pro ITD) at HTW Berlin provides advanced knowledge in enterprise information technology and digital transformation across three semesters. It is aimed at practising IT professionals, graduates in computer science, engineering, and business, and those from non-technical backgrounds seeking to move into the IT industry. Teaching integrates hands-on projects, industry case studies, and networking activities. The curriculum covers data-driven innovation through IoT and mobile computing; data analytics and AI including data science, predictive modelling, NLP, and large language models; cloud computing and software development including containerisation and multi-cloud strategies; and core IT management disciplines such as IT project management, IT security, requirements engineering, and enterprise architecture management. Students also develop interdisciplinary competencies in leadership, intercultural communication, and strategic sales. Elective options allow specialisation in areas such as data science, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or IT consulting. The programme begins in the winter semester and carries an annual tuition fee of 10,500 EUR. It is based at HTW Berlin University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, Germany.
