Graduates take up senior posts such as advanced practice nurses, clinical nurse managers, specialist clinicians or research nurses in acute hospitals, community health organisations and national health service bodies.

The course welcomes registered nurses and midwives with a BSc (Hons) or equivalent NFQ Level 8 qualification and demonstrable professional experience. It deepens understanding of leadership, clinical decision-making, professional ethics, evidence-based practice and research methods, enabling graduates to influence policy, lead teams and drive improvement within the Irish health system.
