The programme is designed for those who wish to pursue careers in governmental agencies, consultancy firms, NGOs, or academic research.

A Transdisciplinary Approach to Spatial Challenges

The curriculum distinguishes itself by combining deep-dive theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice. Students benefit from the university’s prime location in Brussels, using the city as a living laboratory for urban studies. Through a blend of advanced GIS techniques, field research, and critical spatial analysis, the programme cultivates the ability to translate complex geographic data into actionable policy and sustainable solutions. It is an ideal environment for students who are eager to engage with the spatial dimensions of societal change.
