Bachelor in Psychology

At European University of Lefke, tuition is 2,300 EUR per year.

Psychology studies human behavior, cognition, and emotion, drawing on research methods and theory to understand how people think, feel, and act individually and in groups. Typical coursework spans developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, social psychology, abnormal psychology, research methods, and statistics, with many programs also introducing counseling techniques and psychological assessment. Students learn to design and interpret psychological studies, apply theoretical frameworks to real-world behavior, and understand ethical considerations in working with human subjects. Practical components can include observation exercises, case studies, and supervised experience in clinical, educational, or organizational settings, depending on the track chosen. Career paths for graduates include roles in human resources, social services, market research, and further clinical training, since many positions in clinical or counseling psychology require postgraduate study and licensure. The degree also serves as a foundation for careers in education, healthcare support, and organizational consulting. This bachelor program is delivered in English over 4 years at European University of Lefke, located in Lefke, Northern Cyprus. The 4-year curriculum typically introduces broad foundational psychology courses first, followed by more focused electives in areas such as clinical, developmental, or organizational psychology, often paired with a research project or thesis in later years. Studying in an English-medium program in Lefke gives students exposure to an international peer group while building the analytical and communication skills the discipline requires. The structured progression from theory to applied and research-based coursework reflects how psychology programs generally prepare students for both direct practice and further academic study.
