The Bachelor of Interior Design (Honours) programme is tailored for creative and technically proficient students who are ready to transform interior environments through professional design practice. Students will develop a sophisticated blend of aesthetic vision, technical expertise, and spatial problem-solving skills, preparing them to meet the demands of a complex, modern industry.

This is a rigorous, technology-intensive curriculum. Because the programme relies heavily on specialized industry-standard design software, students must be equipped with high-performance hardware capable of handling intensive 3D rendering and complex modeling workflows. Success in this programme requires not only a strong design sensibility but also the ability to manage professional-grade computing tools effectively.

Hardware Requirements and Specifications

Prospective students must own and maintain a high-performance Windows-based PC, as Apple or Mac products are not suitable for the technical requirements of the coursework. Key specifications include:

• Processor: 12th Generation Intel Core i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 6000 series (2.3 GHz or better).
• Memory: Minimum 64GB RAM.
• Storage: 1TB or greater SSD.
• Graphics: High-performance discrete graphics card with at least 12GB of memory.
• Display: 14" to 15" screen or greater, with a recommended resolution of 1920x1080.
• Connectivity: Integrated webcam, quality headset/microphone, and reliable USB-A/USB-C ports.

Students must arrive on the first day of classes with their device ready for use. While the college provides wireless/hardwired internet access and specific software installations via the college server, students are responsible for the ongoing maintenance and performance of their own hardware, including ensuring they have adequate virus protection and a multi-year warranty.
