The Cloud Data Management programme is designed to equip students with the advanced technical proficiency required to architect, deploy, and maintain complex cloud-based data ecosystems. This programme places a heavy emphasis on practical, hands-on learning, ensuring graduates are prepared to tackle real-world data challenges in high-demand industry roles.

Essential Hardware Preparation

Given the rigorous nature of the curriculum, students must arrive prepared with a high-performance laptop. The programme mandates a Windows-based environment—specifically cautioning against the use of Mac devices due to compatibility issues with critical tools such as PowerBI and PowerShell—to ensure seamless integration with the college’s server infrastructure and software suite.

• Individual ownership and maintenance of a high-performance laptop is required for the first day of classes.
• The environment demands robust hardware, including a minimum of 32GB of memory and a discrete graphics card, to handle intensive data processing and virtualization tasks.
• Students benefit from college-provided access to specialized software downloads and server-based applications, tethering their personal hardware to the broader institutional digital ecosystem.
