School Companion

The School Companion program at AKAD University is a non-degree program for individuals who want to make a positive impact in education. It's a 4-month online program that helps students develop essential skills to support children and adolescents in school activities.

The curriculum covers pedagogical foundations, teaching students how to assist with organizational tasks, foster social interactions, and help students integrate into the school community. This practical knowledge prepares graduates to address the unique needs of students requiring additional support.

Graduates can pursue roles such as School Companion, Educational Assistant, or Support Worker in public and private schools, special education institutions, or community organizations. They may also find employment in related fields, working as a Learning Support Assistant or a Youth Worker.
