The program explores these effects through disciplines including Philosophy, History, Anthropology, and Political Studies.

The major requires 36 credits, distributed across an introductory STS course, science and technology practice courses, context and theory courses, additional STS courses, electives, and a senior thesis or integrative seminar.

Graduates enter careers in science journalism, policy research, science education, design, business consulting, medicine, and law.

The programme totals about 36 credit hours. For international students, tuition is well above the median for US programmes. The institution admits about 17% of applicants.
