SHIFT Study Sprint Sustainable Civil Engineering

The SHIFT Study Sprint in Sustainable Civil Engineering is a 15-week preparatory course at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, held at its campus in Neuburg an der Donau. It is aimed at high school graduates who wish to continue with a Bachelor's in Sustainable Civil Engineering at THI. The course prepares participants both technically and professionally through subject-related instruction and intercultural content, with mentoring and administrative support to assist integration at THI and in Neuburg an der Donau. Course components include a bridge course in mathematics, German classes at A1 or A2 level, an Excel basics workshop, and intercultural competence training. Students also choose two elective subjects from options such as an Excel advanced workshop, scientific and independent work, and various IT workshops, as well as two intercultural elective subjects covering topics such as German business etiquette and success in German professional life. Further activities include workshops, events, and excursions. A maximum of 25 participants can be accepted. Participants do not hold student status, and the course is not a university entrance examination or preparation for one. The course is based in Neuburg an der Donau, Germany.
