For Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), tuition fees are 15,400 USD per year.

The Benedict College Social Work Program, the oldest CSWE accredited HBCU program in South Carolina, prepares students for ethical and competent entry-level social work practice and graduate education. It features a curriculum grounded in liberal arts and a generalist perspective, with an emphasis on diversity, global awareness, and social justice. A signature component is field education, designed to integrate classroom learning with practical experience in field settings to develop ethical and effective practitioners.

Field education requires a minimum of 400 hours, undertaken in a semester-long block placement starting in the second semester of the senior year.

Graduates are prepared for entry-level social work practice or further graduate education.

For international students, tuition is well below the median for US programmes. The institution admits about 67% of applicants.
