    Introduction

Stetson University brings together the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business Administration, School of Music and College of Law, with more than 100 academic programs across these schools. Areas of study include health sciences, psychology, digital arts, biology, communication and media studies, education, computer science, political science, accounting and finance. The university’s legal education is especially associated with trial advocacy and legal writing. Undergraduate teaching is supported by an 11:1 student-to-faculty ratio.

The main undergraduate campus is in DeLand, Florida. Students can explore award-winning downtown DeLand and other Central Florida destinations, while Stetson’s Gulfport campus is home to Stetson Law. Campus life includes more than 100 student organizations, intramural and club sports, Greek chapters and 20 NCAA Division I teams. Residential living forms a significant part of the undergraduate experience, with a three-year residency requirement and housing options ranging from traditional shared rooms to suite-style and apartment living.

International students join a community that includes students from more than 56 countries. Stetson provides an International Admissions pathway for applicants from abroad, with first-year, transfer and graduate routes available. Students should plan carefully for campus housing: fall applications open in November, and the priority deadline for new students is April 1. The university also promotes scholarships, financial aid and immersive honors opportunities for eligible students.
