Bachelor in Sociology

Tuition is 900 EUR per semester.

The University College of Enterprise and Administration in Lublin offers a bachelor's programme in Sociology, delivered in English over 3 years / 6 semesters. Graduates learn to analyse social and cultural phenomena using research methods such as questionnaires, surveys, photographs, and film, and to design and conduct market research and other promotional projects. The curriculum prepares students for effective management and promotion of a company and its products, offered in both full-time and part-time formats. Career paths for graduates include marketing and HR departments, public opinion research centres, universities and scientific institutions, consulting and training institutions, PR and advertising agencies, mass media, state and local government administration, cultural institutions, social welfare centres, and, after completing a teaching course, schools. The programme is built around professional teaching staff with academic and practical experience and access to IBM SPSS, specialist software for quantitative data analysis used across academic institutions, public opinion research centres, market research units, and businesses such as airlines, insurance companies, banks, and telecommunications firms. Modern teaching methods support personal development throughout the studies, and students can consult a career counsellor free of charge. Practical education is a stated priority, including implementation of students' own social initiatives and scientific projects. Sociology as a field builds analytical and research skills that apply broadly across business, government, and civil society, and this programme's applied orientation, paired with software training uncommon at many private colleges, is meant to prepare graduates to apply research methods directly in professional settings.
