Bachelor in Software Design & User Experience (B.Sc.)

The Cornerstone modules in semester 1 introduce you to the fundamentals of software design, user-centered design, and scientific work, building skills in the conception and development of software solutions. This programme is ideal for those who wish to design mobile and web apps, video games, VR, and industrial applications from start to finish; indeed, the programme is designed around the creation of your own projects rather than rote learning, with 200% more practical content than comparable programmes.

This programme was created for those seeking to blend creativity with technology, to understand user experience holistically, and to design intuitive and aesthetic interfaces. With a strong focus on practical application, students work on real-world projects from the outset, with the option to undertake an industrial placement.

The programme runs for 6 or 7 semesters, with 210 credits, and is taught across campuses in Berlin, Hamburg, Hannover, Munich/Ismaning, Nuremberg, and Potsdam.

Upon graduation, you can pursue careers as a UX designer, frontend developer, or in fields such as cyber security, business software, and future mobility.
