Master in Sonderpaedagogik (master)

Students who are passionate about supporting the emotional development of students with learning disabilities will build skills in educational, psychological, and medical knowledge. Pädagogik und Didaktik zur Förderung der emotionalen und sozialen Entwicklung (ES) is one of four specialisations on offer, the others being Pädagogik bei Beeinträchtigung der geistigen Entwicklung (GE), Sonderpädagogik des Lernens (L), and Pädagogik bei Beeinträchtigung von Sprache und Kommunikation. Additionally, you will study one other subject from the list of Unterrichtsfach.

This programme will provide you with knowledge of psychological and developmental models, communication and cooperation systems, and medical knowledge. You will also gain skills in professional communication and reflection, particularly in the context of education and society. This will be achieved through a combination of theoretical study and practical experience, including project-based learning and outdoor activities.
