Bachelor in Soziale Arbeit

Students with a penchant for communication and empathy may excel in the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences' programme, where they learn to analyse social problems and devise practical solutions. The course covers such topics as the influence of societal diversity on individuals in need, the legal framework, the role of psychology and sociology, and methods like individual case assistance, group work, and counselling. Throughout the six-semester programme, students gain hands-on experience through a 100-day compulsory semester-long internship in the fourth semester, and can specialise in areas like school social work, juvenile justice, and migration law.
