Bachelor in Soziale Arbeit

RWU's Bachelor of Arts in Soziale Arbeit is a programme accredited by the Akkreditierungsrat, featuring a 7-semester duration, with an emphasis on the human rights foundation of the profession. Students explore various facets of social work, from social planning to working with diverse communities, including people with disabilities, elderly individuals, and those with migration experiences.

The curriculum is designed to equip students with broad qualifications in psychology, economics, and law, alongside a solid foundation in social work science. It includes practical modules that prepare students for roles such as social advisors, educators, or project managers in various social welfare institutions, non-profit organisations, and public services. Students gain practical experience through a 1.5-year internship, ensuring they are well-prepared for the diverse challenges of the field.
