Special Education

Each week you will be analysing case studies, conducting assessments, and developing inclusive support plans for learners with special educational needs. You will collaborate with peers to design interventions, evaluate their impact, and reflect on practice through written reports and a practitioner research project.

The programme builds on modules such as Inclusion: Perspectives and Implications for Practice (10 credits) and Assessment, Planning and Applications (15 credits), integrating policy study, classroom strategies, and research methods. It prepares you to work across whole-school settings, engage with families and external agencies, and apply evidence-based techniques in real-world contexts.
