STAR YES Business Opportunities

The STAR YES Business Opportunities course is designed for secondary school learners interested in business and entrepreneurship. This program, offered at UCOL campuses in Palmerston North, Whanganui, and Masterton, provides a practical introduction to the business world. It is ideal for students who are eager to develop essential skills and traits needed to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Throughout the five-week course, students will engage in hands-on activities that enhance their interpersonal skills and business knowledge. The curriculum focuses on real-world applications, allowing learners to explore various aspects of business. By participating in this program, students will gain insights into entrepreneurship and prepare for further studies in business-related fields.

Upon successful completion, students can pursue additional qualifications such as the Academy Business Enterprise Level 3 or the New Zealand Certificate in Business (Introduction to Small Businesses) Level 3.
