İstatistik

For İstatistik, tuition costs 2,400 USD per year.

This program covers the theory and application of statistical methods used to collect, analyze, and interpret data. Students study probability theory, statistical inference, regression analysis, and experimental design, building both mathematical rigor and practical skills in working with real datasets. Coursework typically includes training in statistical software and programming, giving students the technical ability to apply statistical methods to problems across fields such as business, healthcare, social science, and engineering. Students learn to design studies, test hypotheses, and draw sound conclusions from data while understanding the limitations and assumptions underlying different statistical techniques. As data-driven decision-making becomes more central across industries, the analytical skills developed in this program are widely applicable, and graduates pursue careers in data analysis, market research, actuarial work, biostatistics, and government statistical agencies, or continue into graduate study in statistics, data science, or related quantitative fields. This bachelor program runs for 4 years and is taught in English at Middle East Technical University, a state institution located in Ankara, Turkey, giving students a strong quantitative toolkit applicable across many sectors.
