    About Bachelor in Studienverlauf (bachelor)

Graduates of the User Experience Design programme go on to careers in the media industry, such as designing user experiences for the automotive, medical, or chemical sectors, or working on immersive exhibitions and digital projects for design and software studios.

The programme begins with a first semester dedicated to understanding design in current and historical contexts and applying it in a team-based project. The curriculum focuses on practical projects, such as developing solutions for future mobility and designing for hybrid, connected systems. The fifth semester includes a six-month internship in companies like IT service providers, consulting agencies, or large corporations in user research or UI/UX design. The programme concludes with a bachelor's project and a research project, supported by faculty mentors, that prepares students for their future careers. Students are encouraged to reflect on their personal growth and develop critical thinking and self-responsibility, fostering resilience and the ability to navigate professional and personal challenges.
